Horned Frogs go far to sign hard-hitting Washington linebacker
TCU went 2,000 miles to secure a commitment from linebacker Ben Wilson, who signed a letter of intent Wednesday to play football in Fort Worth.

The three-star player from Sumner, Wash., was rated the sixth-best player in his state by 247Sports.com and the 26th-best linebacker nationally.
At 6-foot-2, 220 pounds, he boasts the combination of size, speed and toughness typically sought by Frogs coach Gary Patterson in linebackers.

Wilson received a late offer from home state power Washington but said he was firm in his commitment to TCU.
