The Smithson Valley senior was rated the 42nd-best player nationally at his position by 247Sports.com.
The Horned Frogs were attracted to the size of Moehrig-Woodard, seeking to add height to the defensive secondary. In 2017, the Frogs used only one 6-foot corner, Jeff Gladney.
Moehrig-Woodard had offers from other Big 12 schools including Oklahoma State and Baylor.
