First player to commit to Frogs’ 2018 class makes it official
Six-foot-5 defensive end Ochaun Mathis, the first player to commit in the 2018 signing class for TCU, signed his letter of intent Wednesday to come to Fort Worth.

The three-star player from Manor pledged to the Frogs in January after a Junior Day visit. He is rated the 43rd-best player at his position nationally by 247Sports.com.
Mathis also had offers from SMU and Texas Tech. He told Jeremy Clark for CBS Sports that his high school uses the same defense as TCU.
