TCU signs South Grand Prairie lineman Avila, an early commit
TCU signed South Grand Prairie guard Esteban Avila, a three-star prospect who was one of five offensive linemen on the Horned Frogs' commitment list.

Avila and teammate Atanza Vongor, a four-star safety, both signed with TCU.
Avila is 6-4, 308 and ranks as the 41st-best player at his position nationally, according to 247Sports.com.
He was the second committed player in the Frogs' 2018 class. He also held offers from Kansas State, North Texas, Utah and UTSA, according to 247Sports.
