Strong bullpen helps TCU baseball squeeze past Abilene Christian

TCU scored two runs in the first inning, two more in the seventh and rode a strong performance by the bullpen for a 4-3 come-from-behind victory over Abilene Christian in nonconference baseball on Monday night.

The Frogs (24-6) trailed 3-2 going into the seventh inning when they rallied for two runs in the victory.

With one out, Garrett Crain and Jeremie Fagnan put together back-to-back singles, with Crain making it to third base.

Zack Plunkett tied the game by putting down a safety squeeze bunt, which scored Crain and Fagnan moved to third.

Cody Jones then brought in the winning run with an infield single.

Four TCU relievers combined to pitch six innings, allowing no runs.
