TCU guard Brandon Parrish, a senior from Arlington Seguin, is one of the nominees for the 2017 Allstate NABC Good Works Team. The candidates, announced Wednesday, are players across all levels of college basketball whose charitable involvement and altruistic acts stand out.

Parrish, who started all 33 games for the Horned Frogs last year, has averaged 9.3 points and 4.2 rebounds for TCU (6-0) heading into Wednesday’s game against Washington in Schollmaier Arena. During the summer, Parrish traveled to South Africa to work on a rhino conservation.
