TCU will look to start 3-0 for the second straight season when SMU visits Schollmaier Arena at 2 p.m. Sunday.

Unlike the Horned Frogs’ first two opponents, whom the Horned Frogs have outscored by a combined 169-77, SMU has also started the season with a pair of wins, having beaten Texas State and Kansas.

Still, the Mustangs pose the first real test on TCU’s schedule.

“We know anyone can beat us on any given night,” guard Jada Butts said after Tuesday’s 81-37 win over Sam Houston State.

Butts scored all seven of her points during a dominant stretch in the third quarter, when the Frogs outscored Sam Houston State 38-5.
