Waxahachie’s Jalen Reagor flips commitment from Oklahoma to TCU
Waxahachie High School senior wide receiver Jalen Reagor, a four-star recruit, announced via Twitter on Thursday that he was decommitting from Oklahoma and committing to play at TCU.
The 6-foot-1, 189-pounder wrote in his tweet that “I have decided to stay closer to my family and friends.”
With TCU he said he will be with current teammate Kenedy Snell, a wide receiver who has pledged to TCU, and former teammate Jordan Kitna. Kitna, the son of Waxahachie coach and former NFL quarterback Jon Kitna, is a reserve freshman quarterback who came to TCU as a preferred walk-on.
Reagor is the No. 14 wide receiver in the 247Sports Composite rankings and has been a human highlight film for Waxahachie High this season, USA Today reported.
He had taken an official visit to TCU on Oct. 1, according to USA Today.
The Under Armour All-America selection committed to Oklahoma in late March. He had helped make OU’s 2017 recruiting class one of the top classes in the nation.
