Daniel P. Novakov elected chairman of Cotton Bowl Athletic Association

Daniel P. Novakov has been elected to a two-year term as chairman of the Cotton Bowl Athletic Association. Novakov, a Dallas attorney, has been a member of the AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic’s Board of Directors since 2006, and has served on the association’s executive committee as vice chairman the past four years.

Novakov will coordinate association’s business affairs and oversee the AT&T Cotton Bowl’s first season as a member of the College Football Playoff.

Novakov is a graduate of Notre Dame, where he was a three-year football letterman on the offensive line under coach Ara Parseghian.
