TCU women seek to extend four-game winning streak

The TCU women’s basketball offense is trending upward.

After a dominating 82-55 performance over Abilene Christian on Wednesday, coach Jeff Mittie said he was happy with the direction the Horned Frogs’ offense was heading.

Junior guard Natalie Ventress “is playing as well as I’ve seen her play,” Mittie said, and taken a leadership role on a young TCU team. She is second on the team in scoring, with 11.8 points per game. Sophomore guard Zahna Medley leads the Horned Frogs with 16 points per game.

TCU is riding a four-game winning streak heading into Friday’s game, which will be the 15th meeting between the schools. TCU holds a 10-4 edge.

The Bearkats are led by junior center Angela Beadle, who is averaging 15.9 points and 9.9 rebounds a game.
