Texas A&M’s ‘Johnny Football’ is Johnny Boxing now, apparently

Former professional athletes like Nate Robinson, Le’Veon Bell and Adrian Peterson have all stepped inside the boxing ring and Texas A&M legend Johnny Manziel will be next.

The 2012 Heisman winner will fight social media star Bob Menery on May 23 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

The event, announced by Brand Risk Promotions, will be streamed on YouTube, Kick, Twitch, TikTok and X.

After a standout college career, Manziel spent two seasons in the NFL after being drafted by the Cleveland Browns but struggled with sobriety and had multiple run-ins with law.

Manziel spent time in the Canadian Football League, Alliance of American Football and Fan Controlled Football.
