What seed was Texas Wesleyan awarded in the NAIA playoffs?

The Texas Wesleyan football program will make its first playoff appearance as a member of the Sooner Athletic Conference.

During the NAIA held its selection show on Sunday, the Rams were awarded the eighth overall seed and a first-round bye in the postseason playoffs.

The Rams will host their inaugural playoff game in the second round at Crowley ISD Multi-Purpose Stadium the weekend of Nov. 29-30.

The Keiser Seahawks were given the No. 1 overall seed for the playoffs. The top 12 seeds in the 20-team bracket will receive a first-round bye.

The Rams finished an undefeated season on Saturday with a 63-42 win over Louisiana Christian University, the team’s sixth game of 60 points or more this season.
