Watch as projected 5th rounder in NFL Draft shares this friendship since high school
Tyrel Dodson is a 6-foot-2 and 240-pound linebacker who played at Texas A&M last season. With the NFL Draft starting on Thursday, Dodson is projected to go in the fifth round.
Dodson started all 12 games and made 61 tackles for the Aggies in 2018.
He’s going to join an NFL team soon, hopefully, but still goes back to his roots at Centennial High School in Tennessee.
His high school best friend is William Gawlas, who participates in the Special Olympics. The two met through Best Buddies, a growing international organization that shares the energy and enthusiasm as they work to enhance the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Dodson got to go support Gawlas during the past week.
