UTA volleyball coach Diane Seymour resigns from coaching

Diane Seymour has resigned as UTA volleyball coach, the school announced Monday.

Seymour had been at UTA since 1996, starting as an assistant before being named head coach in 2004. She was 211-195 in 13 seasons.

As a player, she helped lead the Mavericks to their first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance in 1985, and was a captain on the 1998 squad that went 30-4 was ranked seventh in the nation.
