Cowboys cut nine, including Radway, trimming roster to 75
The Dallas Cowboys have released eight players, including receiver Raymond Radway, this morning to trim their roster to 76. The Cowboys have one additional cut to make before today’s 3 p.m. deadline.
In addition to Radway, who almost made the team last year before breaking his leg in the final pre-season game, other cuts included OT Levy Adcock, P Delbert Alvarado, TE Harry Flaherty, WR David Little, OT Tyrone Novikoff, RB Javarris Williams and CB C.J. Wilson, a former Baylor standout.
The Cowboys also waived two injured players, WR Donovan Kemp and LB Caleb McSurdy. Offensive lineman Kevin Kowalski was placed on the reserve physically unable to perform list.
The Cowboys released deep snapper Charley Hughlett later in the afternoon, trimming their roster to the NFL-mandated maximum of 75 by the 3 p.m. deadline. The departure of Hughlett means deep snapper L.P. Ladouceur, the team's primary deep snapper since 2008, will handle those duties again this season.
