Win tickets to Cowboys, Rangers and TCU games in the Star-Telegram’s Ultimate Fanathon contest
Are you DFW’s most diehard sports fan?
If so, we have the contest for you.
Share a photo or short video of yourself displaying your love for the Cowboys, Rangers, TCU or any/all of the other DFW sports teams, and you could win the Star-Telegram’s Ultimate Fan-a-thon weekend.
That includes tickets to TCU’s home opener Saturday, seats for both Texas Rangers weekend games and tickets to the Cowboys season opener Sunday night. Sounds great, right? The Rangers are in a penant race, TCU and the Cowboys both have championship aspirations this season.
But here’s the part where you prove your true Superfandom -- if you win, you agree to chronicle your Ultimate Fanathon weekend with photos and social media posts from all four games – that’s TCU vs. Stephen F. Austin at 2:30 p.m. Saturday; Rangers vs. A’s at 7:05 p.m. Saturday; Rangers vs. A’s at 2:05 p.m. Sunday; and Cowboys vs. Giants, 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Heck, you might still have time to do some tailgating, too, right?
So, if this sounds like a dream weekend, convince us: Post a photo or video of yourself showing your team(s) spirit to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #STSuperFan (make sure your privacy settings are set to public so we can find your entry) and you’ll be entered to win. Deadline for entries is 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9.
PRIZE: Winner will get tickets to TCU vs. Stephen F. Austin at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, September 12; Rangers vs. A’s at 7:05 p.m. Saturday, September 12; Rangers vs. A’s at 2:05 p.m. Sunday, Septemeber 13; and Cowboys vs. Giants, 7:30 p.m. Sunday, September 13. Winner must be able to pick up tickets at the Star-Telegram building, 808 Throckmorton Street, in downtown Fort Worth before 5 p.m. Friday, September 11 and agree to attend all four games and post on social media from those games, for use in the Star-Telegram.
CONTEST RULES: Entries must be submitted by the contest deadline. Must be at least 18 years of age to enter or win. Winners will be selected from all online entries received within submission period. No substitutions or transfer of winners/prizes. Prizes are not redeemable for cash. Some prizes may have dues dates for redemption/use. Employees and immediate family of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Star-Telegram.com, mom2momdfw.com, dfw.com and any/all of the participating giveaway sponsors, are not eligible to enter or win. By entering, winner consents to allow the use of his/her name and/or photograph for advertising or similar promotions without further compensation.
