Ravens Named as Potential Landing Spot for All-Pro Receiver

With weeks to go before the start of training camp, the musical chairs for veteran receivers is set to begin.

DeAndre Hopkins fit that role last year for the Baltimore Ravens but is looking for a new gig in free agency after recording 22 receptions for 330 yards and two touchdowns last season. Hopkins recently said he wants to join a contender, believing he can help a team in the playoffs but isn’t going to be a regular-season star anymore.

The Ravens could add another big-name receiver for quarterback Lamar Jackson before training camp.

During an appearance on ESPN’s “NFL Live” on Monday, Jeremy Fowler reported that at least five teams are showing interest in Stefon Diggs, who was the leading receiver for the New England Patriots last season with 85 receptions for 1,013 yards and four touchdowns.

Fowler said Diggs will have a “market” closer to training camp, and the All-Pro receiver believes he’ll play better than he did in 2025, when he was on a snap count of 55-percent after coming off an ACL injury in 2024.

Because Brandon Aiyuk isn’t expected to sign with the Washington Commanders before the regular season, like was predicted earlier this offseason, Fowler thinks Diggs could join the Commanders. He also noted that Diggs might be a strong fit for the Ravens.

“The Baltimore Ravens, they have really made a living at times signing retread receivers, veterans who are accomplished, who are in their 30s, who can come in and help,” Fowler said.

Diggs, 32, would have the potential to become the WR2 for Baltimore. He’d be an upgrade over Rashod Bateman and Devontez Walker.

Zay Flowers would still be the WR1 for the Ravens if Diggs joined the team. Flowers had a career year in 2025, earning 86 receptions for 1,211 yards and five touchdowns.

With the Cincinnati Bengals making aggressive moves this offseason to make a strong Super Bowl push, the Ravens could boost their chances of winning the AFC North by adding Diggs.
