Alamo Heights' Lee, Navarro's Kirk headline E-N All-Area golf teams

Grade: Sophomore

Highlights: Lee captured the UIL Class 5A individual championship with two-round 137 (70-67) for a six-shot victory. She is city's first UIL girls state champion since Taylor Coleman of Johnson in 2013 ... Lee finished second at the Region IV-5A and District 26-5A championships ... 2025 Express-News Girls Golfer of the Year finalist.

Highlights: Kirk was awarded the silver medal at the UIL Class 4A state championship after falling short in a three-hole playoff for gold. Kirk shot a two-round 139 (69-70) to tie Lorena's Chase Horn after 36 holes ... Won the Region IV-4A championship.

Claire McMyler, Brandeis, sr.: Finished 36th at the UIL Class 6A state championships with a two-round 165 ... She was fourth at the Region IV-6A championships and was the District 27-6A champion.

Brylee Morky, La Vernia, jr.: Morky was awarded the UIL Class 4A state bronze medal after a playoff for second place after carding a two-round 147 (75-72) ... Finished second at the Region IV-4A tournament following a playoff for gold.

Hayden Gold, Smithson Valley, jr.: Gold finished fourth at the UIL Class 5A state championships with a two-round 142 (69-73) ... Gold was fourth at the Region IV-5A tournament and fourth at the District 26-6A tournament.

Jett Leard, Johnson, sr.: Leard was 11th at the UIL Class 6A state championships with a two-round 146 ... He was fifth at the Region IV-6A tournament and was the District 27-6A champion.

Braxton Simpson, Kerrville Tivy, soph.: Simpson was eighth at the UIL Class 5A state championship with a two-round 143 ... He was sixth at the Region IV-5A tournament and second at the District 26-5A tournament.

Josh Szynski, New Braunfels Long Creek, soph: Finished 10 th at the UIL Class 4A state championships with a two-round 148 ... He was second at the Region IV-4A tournament and was the District 26-4A champion.
