Floresville's Cypert, Randolph's Thompson selected E-N track Athletes of the Week

Boys

Kaden Cypert, Floresville: The sophomore dominated the distance events at the Pleasanton Brush Country Relays. He won 3,200-meter run in 9 minutes, 54.56 seconds, a victory over more than one minute. He also won the 1,600 in 4:23.47, a win by 10 seconds.

Girls

Skye Thompson, Randolph: The freshman won the Ro-Hawk Relays triple jump with a mark of 40 feet, 3 3/4 inches, which is fifth best in Texas this season.

Thompson also anchored Randolph's 4 x 400 relay, teaming with Rylee Logan, Oreoluwa Adeoya and Pita Wold-Edwards, for a winning time of 3:57.80. They won the relay by 26 seconds.
