Dallas Wings move Aug. 1 game against Indiana Fever to American Airlines Center

The Dallas Wings announced that their Aug. 1 matchup against the Fever will be played at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, home of the Dallas Mavericks and Dallas Stars. The change comes after a 94-86 Fever win on June 27 that brought a crowd of 24,409 to AAC, a franchise season attendance record for the Wings. The start time for the game remains at 6:30 p.m. CT and will be televised nationally on ION.

The 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year, Caitlin Clark, was unavailable for the June 27 game but is expected to play in the Aug. 1 contest. In nine games this season, Clark is averaging 18.2 points, five rebounds, and 8.8 assists per game for the Fever. In 14 games for the Wings, rookie Paige Bueckers is averaging 18.7 points, 4.4 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game.

The game was originally scheduled to be played at the College Park Center. Fans who already purchased tickets to the game will have their tickets refund. Senior ticket holders will have their tickets relocated to a similar location within AAC for the game. Tickets for the game will go on sale on Friday, July 11 at 10 a.m. CT.
