Kevin Durant traded to the Phoenix Suns

Kevin Durant has been traded from the Brooklyn Nets to the Phoenix Suns as first reported by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

The two-time NBA Finals MVP requested a trade after the Nets traded Kyrie Irving to the Dallas Mavericks.

The full trade package involved the Nets sending Kevin Durant and TJ Warren for Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder, four first-round draft picks and a 2028 pick swap.

The move gives the Suns a new big three of Durant, Chris Paul and Devin Booker all of whom are All-NBA players.

Social media erupted when the trade was announced.
