Dallas Mavs’ Luka Doncic ruled out for Game 1 against the Utah Jazz

As feared, Luka Doncic is not “All In” for the 2022 NBA Playoffs.

Not exactly his fault, but ...

The Dallas Mavericks’ All-Star forward was ruled out of Game 1 of the Dallas Mavericks’ NBA playoff series against the Utah Jazz with a strained calf.

The team confirmed what has been expected on Saturday morning. He remains strictly a day-to-day situation.

Game 2 is Monday night at the American Airlines Center.

The team made the decision not to let Doncic play with the injury.

Doncic sustained the injury in the Dallas Mavericks’ regular-season finale on Sunday, April 10.

Doncic led the Mavericks in scoring at 28.4 points per game.

Doncic led the Mavericks in rebounding, 9.1 rebounds per game.

Doncic led the Mavericks in assists, 8.7 assists per game.

Doncic led the Mavericks in steals, 1.2 steals per game.

Doncic led the Mavericks in minutes, 35.4 minutes per game.

Other than that, he really didn’t do much.
