Grapevine, Colleyville elections
Colleyville vote
Who’s funding the slate of challengers in the Colleyville city elections?
The scale and cost of this campaign far exceeds anything I’ve seen in my 24 years living in Colleyville — mass quantities of signs, frequent robocalls and almost daily 8-by-10 glossy election fliers.
More important, what are the hidden agenda items being bought with those campaign funds?
I’m against “bought” elections.
I’m voting for the incumbents, Mayor David Kelly and City Council members Carol Wollin and Chuck Mogged.

We urge voters in Grapevine and Colleyville to support the $249 million school bond package in the May 7 election.
We were members of a volunteer committee that evaluated projects for the bond package.
The projects in the ballot proposal met our strong criteria for needed improvements for our schools and students.
Facilities for the 21st century mandate that we make capital upgrades to accommodate the growth in our schools and keep pace with technology.
Building a new Cannon Elementary School, adding classrooms to several campuses and two new multipurpose activity centers are included.
Other major components focus on improving security, infrastructure and classrooms.
That includes heating and air conditioning upgrades, IT networking, kitchen equipment, school buses and more.
We focused on the most important needs that provide the greatest benefit to our students, teachers and administrators.
We respectfully ask that you support this bond by voting “yes”!
