Revolver Brewing’s beloved craft beers will get easier to find this fall.

The Granbury craft brewery has signed a deal for Tenth and Blake Beer Co., a MillerCoors subsidiary, to acquire a majority interest in Revolver.

One of the few changes expected is in distribution methods, an area where Revolver could use the help.

In 2013, Revolver and two other Texas breweries filed a lawsuit, arguing a provision in a state beer distribution law hinders growth and creates unfair business practices.

The suit is currently in court.

This acquisition will most likely help erase that hindrance.

“Our main priority will be to work with the Revolver team to support its continued success and make sure its beer is enjoyed by even more consumers in Texas,” Scott Whitley, president and CEO of Tenth and Blake, said in a news statement.

For a stellar brewery like Revolver, having Tenth and Blake’s resources can only make them better.

“It’s going to help us in our ultimate goal to make good beer and get more of that into the hands and mouths of people,” Revolver master brewer Grant Wood told Star-Telegram reporter Preston Jones.

Just don’t mess with that Blood & Honey recipe.
