To the person or persons responsible for the fire that led to the explosion in West, you deserve the justice coming your way.

In April 2013, a fertilizer plant in West, a small town about 90 minutes from Fort Worth, exploded. It destroyed about 500 homes, killed 15 people and left a 93-foot crater.

Twelve victims were firefighters and other first responders.

This devastation started as a fire, one ruled ‘incendiary’ or intentionally set,” authorities said Wednesday.

The U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives spent about $2 million on the investigation, interviewing more than 400 people to determine what happened three years ago.

The agency ruled out “all viable accidental and natural fire scenarios.”

Now it is willing to spend $50,000 more on information that leads to the arrest of person or persons involved in this horrendous, heartbreaking, devastating crime.

That will be a well-spent $50,000 if Texas gets to see the responsible party behind bars.
