Love wine? So does Grapevine’s GrapeFest
GrapeFest — a Wine Experience paints the town red, white, blush and champagne this weekend.
Grapevine hosts the annual wine-tasting festival for the 30th time, bringing in Texas, California and Australia wines for everyone to taste and buy.
“GrapeFest is the place to discover and try new wines and even rediscover some of your favorite varietals,” says its website, which sounds like a perfect excuse to visit downtown Grapevine.
Though wine is the main attraction, the event is kid-friendly, making it a fun outing for the whole family.
Events like GrapeFest allow North Texans to sample new varietals and try different brands without the pressure of purchasing an entire bottle.
Some of the featured wines won’t be available in Texas outside of this festival. Craft beer will be available for those non-wine drinkers.
Usual festival food will also be available.
The event runs through Sunday.
