After patchy fog this morning, partly sunny skies are expected this afternoon as Main St. Fort Worth Arts Festival gets underway.

The National Weather Service Fort Worth is calling for a high temperature of 75 and a low of 57 tonight.

Friday should be mostly sunny with a high of 79 and low of 63 before clouds roll in Friday night, bringing a chance of thunderstorms over the weekend.

There’s a 40 percent chance for thunderstorms Saturday night, increasing to 70 percent Sunday night and 60 percent Monday, with the possibility of hail. Forecast highs over the weekend are in the mid- to low 70s with lows in the 60s.

Weather Service meteorologist Matt Bishop said the thunderstorms will come in from the west, bringing widespread rainfall and possible localized flooding in some areas.

Bishop said it’s too early to tell which areas could experience flooding.
