UPDATE: The current severe thunderstorm warning will be expiring at 5:45 p.m.

The warning was active for Wise and Jack counties.

"The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits. Therefore the warning will be allowed to expire. However gusty winds are still possible with this thunderstorm. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 7 p.m. for north central Texas," explains the NWS Fort Worth TX.

The warning is in effect until 5:45 p.m.
