Weather alert in place for North Texas Sunday morning - winds gusting up to 40 mph

A report from the NWS Fort Worth TX was issued on Sunday at 7:55 a.m. for strong winds and outflow until 8:30 a.m. The alert is for Denton, Parker, Tarrant and Dallas counties.
Residents may experience wind gusts of up to 40 mph.
"At 7:53 a.m., Doppler radar tracked an outflow boundary along a line extending from Hebron to near Saginaw to near Springtown. Movement was south at 20 mph," according to the NWS. "Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects."
Expect strong winds and outflow in the following locations:
- Dallas, Fort Worth, Irving, Carrollton, Lewisville, Flower Mound, Bedford, Grapevine, Haltom City, and Keller around 8 a.m.
- Euless, Farmers Branch, Weatherford, White Settlement, Richland Hills, River Oaks, and Lake Weatherford around 8:05 a.m.
- Willow Park, Westworth Village, and Hudson Oaks around 8:10 a.m.
According to the NWS, "If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building."
This alert is in effect until 8:30 a.m.
