UPDATE: The flash flood warning for Collin and Denton counties is forecast to expire at 6 p.m.

The warning was active for Collin and Denton counties.

"The heavy rain has ended. Flooding of low-lying and/or poor drainage areas may continue for a few hours until the water has had a chance to recede. Please continue to heed remaining road closures," says the NWS Fort Worth TX.

The warning is in effect until 6 p.m.
