Live weather updates: Tornado spotted as storms roll through North Texas
A severe weather system is moving through North Texas on Tuesday, bringing possible hail, high winds and potential tornadoes to the Dallas-Fort Worth, according to the National Weather Service.
Multiple counties in the area, including Tarrant and Dallas, are under a tornado watch until 9 p.m., according to the NWS. Some areas are also under a tornado and severe thunderstorm warning.

No serious injures after possible tornado in Mineral Wells
Homes and businesses were damaged in Mineral Wells on Tuesday after a possible tornado touched down around 5 p.m.
No one was seriously injured, but two people were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to a city spokesperson.
Houses were damaged along Van Story Road and County Club Parkway, and metal was wrapped around a tree near a manufacturing plant at 100 Washington Ave.
Officials said Tuesday evening they were still assessing the scope of the damage. About 2,000 customers were without gas, according to Fire Chief Ryan Dunn.
The Mineral Wells High School cafeteria is open anyone who was displaced by the storm. The American Red Cross is at the school to offer assistance, officials said.
The National Weather Service in Fort Worth said it appears that a tornado touched down in the city based on radar data and damage reports, but it will not be able to officially confirm until a survey is conducted Wednesday morning.
Brittany Brown, spokesperson for Mineral Wells, said the city received reports of a tornado on the northeast side of town about 5 p.m.
Storm chasers posted videos of the funnel clouds and subsequent damage.
Flights at DFW Airport, Love Field facing delays
6:45 p.m. Arriving flights at Dallas Love Field airport are facing a delay of an hour and seven minutes on average, according to online flight tracking service FlightAware.
Departing flights at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport are facing delays of up to 51 minutes on average.
133 flights out of both metroplex-area airports have been delayed and 104 have been canceled, per FlightAware’s MiseryMap.
Softball-sized hail reported near Godley
6:41 p.m. KXAS-TV said it was getting reports of softball-sized hail near Godley, along Texas 171. A tornado warning for Johnson County expired at 6:20 p.m.
Damage reported from tornado in Mineral Wells
6:30 p.m.: Damage has been reported in Mineral Wells after a tornado moved through the city, according to photos posted online by Falcon Storm Chasing.
Damage reported in Wise County
6:00 p.m.: Residents in Wise County are reporting damage after storms moved through the area earlier today, according to the Wise County Messenger.
Photos from the Messenger show downed trees blocking a road and damage to a mobile home in Bridgeport.
The National Weather Service issued a tornado warning for Wise County at 2:54 p.m., according to Wise County Emergency Management. The warning expired at 5 p.m..
Emergency management officials advised members of the public to report damage to their homes or businesses online.
Tornado spotted in Mineral Wells
5:30 p.m. A tornado has been spotted in Mineral Wells, according to photos posted online by Falcon Storm Chasing. Neighboring Parker County is under a tornado warning, WFAA-TV’s Pete Delkus reported.
The tornado was rain-wrapped and produced heavy damage in Wolters Village, the storm chasers wrote on X.
