Strong winds are blowing dust across North Texas, reducing visibility and coloring the sky orange.
A high wind warning is in effect until 7 p.m. Tuesday for parts of the Metroplex, including Fort Worth, Arlington, Weatherford, Mineral Wells, Granbury and more, according to the National Weather Service Fort Worth.

The NWS is encouraging folks to do the following amid the high winds:
Secure loose outdoor objects.
Be cautious while driving lightweight or high-profile vehicles on east to west roads.
Avoid any activity that could start a fire.
Prepare for any sporadic damage, such as downed trees or power lines.
