A few strong storms are possible for the Dallas-Fort Worth area Saturday evening, according to the National Weather Service.

A complex of strong to severe thunderstorms will come from the northwest from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday. Additional storms are possible overnight into early Sunday morning.

Areas affected also include Graham, Stephenville, Waco, Killeen, Canton, Gainesville, Paris and Palestine.

Storms may be weakening as they arrive, but may bring gusty winds and frequent lightning. Small hail is also possible. Damaging wind gusts are the main concern.

Storms are expected to exit to the east around 9 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The best rain chances will be north of Interstate 20, according to the NWS.
