Some rain, warmer temperatures in Dallas-Fort Worth forecast for Easter weekend
Easter weekend in North Texas could get off to a wet start, but dry weather and warmer temperatures are in the forecast for Saturday and Sunday, according to the National Weather Service in Fort Worth.
Good Friday will be cloudy and cool with a 30% chance of rain, NWS meteorologist Steve Fano said. Rain and thunderstorms are possible all day, but no severe weather is expected.
There is an expected high of 60 on Friday and a low of 50.
There is a chance of showers overnight Friday, according to Fano, but Saturday and Easter Sunday are expected to be dry and partly sunny.
The high Saturday will be around 69 and temperatures will warm to about 73 on Sunday.
