A strong cold front will send temperatures into the teens and 20s across North Texas late next week, but a low chance of precipitation means the region is likely to stay dry.

Temperatures will remain cool through the weekend and into next week before the cold front arrives Thursday, when the highs will be in the upper 30s with wind chills as low as 15, according to the National Weather Service.. The cold weather is expected to last for a few days after the front arrives.

Friday’s highs will be in the upper 40s with overnight lows in the upper 20s. Saturday’s highs will be in the lower 50s with overnight lows in the lower 30s.

Sunday’s highs will be in the lower 50s with a 30% chance of showers in the evening and after midnight. Lows will be in the lower 40s. Monday’s high will be around 50 with overnight lows in the upper 30s. Highs Tuesday and Wednesday will be in the 40s ahead of the cold front.
