Storms possible Tuesday, Wednesday before highs in 80s for Dallas-Fort Worth this week

North Texans should expect the possibility of rain and thunderstorms west of Interstate 35 Tuesday afternoon and more storms early Wednesday across the region as a weather system moves east, according to the National Weather Service in Fort Worth.

Some storms could become strong to marginally severe, with hail being the primary concern.

Highs for the rest of the week are expected to hang around in the mid- to upper-80s in Dallas-Fort Worth, with more rain possible from Saturday to Monday.

Some storms could become severe, but nothing is certain yet, according to the service.
