Cold front entering Fort Worth area will bring temperatures in 50s next week
Fort Worth is expecting to see some fall weather with cooler temperatures next week as a cold front will enter north and central Texas.
Friday was sunny with a high of 72, but with wind gusts up to 40 mph throughout the day, the National Weather Service said.
The weekend, Monday and Tuesday are expected to be filled with sunshine with highs in the 70s and lows in the 50s before a cold front arrives Wednesday.
The highs, at least for Wednesday and Thursday, will be in the high 50s and mid 60s, with a chance for storms.
Beginning early Wednesday morning, there’s a 40% chance for rain and thunderstorms around 1 a.m., the weather service said. The showers, and thunder, may continue into Wednesday night before clearing up Thursday, when the high is expected to be near 61.
