A multi-vehicle pileup on eastbound Interstate 30 Saturday morning in Dallas injured five people and closed all lanes of of traffic for a time at Ferguson Road, officials said.

At least 24 vehicles were involved in the collisions on two different areas of I-30, the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office said in a social media post. Authorities said slick roads due to early morning rain may have been a factor in the crash.

Five people were taken to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, officials said. As of 11 a.m., the two right hand lanes at Ferguson Road were open, the sheriff’s office posted.
