At least 10 injured in major Fort Worth crash involving 18-wheeler after man ran on road

A major crash injured 10 people Monday morning in northeast Fort Worth near Euless.

MedStar, Fort Worth police and Fort Worth firefighters responded to the incident at westbound Texas 183 near Texas 360 before 6 a.m. Multiple patients and multiple vehicles, including an 18-wheeler, were involved, according to MedStar.

Ten people received minor injuries and a person was ejected, according to a MedStar email alert.

According to the Fort Worth police incident report, a man was seen running on the highway just before the northbound Texas 360 exit.

Police spokesperson Tracy Carter said the hazard caused the wreck. Motorists were checked out for injuries, but not transported, he said.
