DFW Airport leads nation in canceled flights during second day of winter storm
As North Texas heads into its second day of the winter storm, DFW is still leads in canceled flights nationwide.
FlightAware shows DFW has canceled 1,081 flights and has had 23 delays as of Thursday morning at around 9:15. Nearly 560, or 55%, of those flights were supposed to leave DFW, while 523 flights heading into DFW were canceled.
At Dallas-Love Field, there have been 212 cancellations and 10 delays.
Leading in canceled flights at DFW is American Airlines with with 66%, or 602, of its flights canceled, followed by Envoy with 55%, or 223 flights, canceled. Southwest leads at Dallas-Love with 210, or 58%, flights canceled.
Nationwide, there have been 3,025 cancellations and 4,266 delays.
