This was the scene during the lunch hour Tuesday after a diesel fuel spill on Interstate 35W near Berry Street forced Fort Worth police to close the highway for more than two hours.

Two semi-trucks collided Tuesday morning on Interstate 35W, causing a large diesel spill and forcing police to close part of the highway near Berry Street in south Fort Worth.

No injuries were reported in the accident that occurred about 11 a.m. in the northbound lanes of I-35W.

The wreck caused a fuel tank to rupture and spill diesel fuel on the highway, police and fire officials said.

Police closed the northbound lanes for about an hour; one lane was reopened during the lunch hour. All lanes were opened by 1:15 p.m.
