Four-year-old Grand Prairie girl’s death ruled a homicide
Police are investigating the homicide of a 4-year-old girl who died early March 13.
Leiliana Wright died of blunt force trauma to her head and abdomen, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office.
On March 13, officers responded about 12:30 a.m. to a home in the 2200 block of 14th Street on a call about an injured child, Grand Prairie police spokesman Mark Beseda said Thursday in a news release.
Firefighters took the girl to Medical Center of Arlington, where she was pronounced dead at 1:07 a.m.
Police did not release further details.
