Laredo International Airport invites public to help shape master plan
The Laredo International Airport is inviting residents to help shape the future of air travel in the Gateway City during the first public workshop for its Airport Master Plan.
The come-and-go public involvement workshop will take place from 5:30-7:30 p.m. July 21 at the Joe A. Guerra Laredo Public Library, 1120 E. Calton Road.
Airport officials are seeking community feedback as they develop the long-range Airport Master Plan, which will help identify future development needs and guide improvements to safely and efficiently accommodate future aviation demand.
According to the airport, the master plan will serve as a roadmap for future improvements while supporting coordinated decision-making for the airport and the surrounding community.
Residents attending the workshop will have the opportunity to learn about the planning process, ask questions and provide input on the airport's future.
Those unable to attend may submit comments through the project's website by scanning the QR code included on the event flyer.
