Birding, kayaking and more highlight July at Lake Casa Blanca

Lake Casa Blanca International State Park has released its lineup of free ranger-led programs for July, offering families and outdoor enthusiasts opportunities to explore nature throughout the month.

Programs will be held at various locations throughout the park, 5102 Bob Bullock Loop, and include activities focused on birding, fishing, kayaking, hiking, wildlife education and the arts.

The July schedule includes:

July 3, 10 a.m., "Battle of the Birds," Boat Ramp Restrooms.

July 5, 9 a.m., "Birding 101," Boat Ramp Restrooms.

July 10, 10 a.m., "Flying Through Life!," Boat Ramp Restrooms.

July 11, 10 a.m., "Fishing With a Ranger," Fishing Pier.

July 17, 8:45 p.m., "Night Hike!," Boat Ramp Restrooms.

July 18, 10 a.m., "What's in the Water?," Lago Vista (by Recreation Hall).

July 19, 9 a.m., "Kayaking Lake Casa Blanca," Boat Ramp. (Registration required.)

July 24, 8:45 p.m., "Night Hike!," Boat Ramp Restrooms.

July 25, 10 a.m., "Art in the Park," Boat Ramp Restrooms.

July 26, 9 a.m., "Kayaking 101," Boat Ramp. (Registration required.)
