Spirit Halloween plans to hire 52,000 workers ahead of Halloween season
Halloween may still be more than four months away, but one of the country's biggest seasonal retailers is already gearing up for a busy fall.
Spirit Halloween announced Thursday that it plans to hire more than 52,000 workers this year, which it described as its largest seasonal recruitment effort in its history.
The Halloween retailer says it's hiring sales associates, store managers and other workers ahead of the fall shopping rush, with openings in more than 1,500 communities at stores across the U.S. and Canada.
Other positions the company is looking for include merchandising, operations, and teardown.
Spirit Halloween offers customers costumes, accessories, animatronics, and décor alongside an interactive retail environment.
