College Station man arrested on multiple drug charges

A 23-year-old College Station man was arrested Tuesday after police executing a search warrant at an apartment near Texas A&M University allegedly found psilocybin mushrooms, marijuana and THC vape cartridges.

According to probable cause statements, management at Redpoint Crossing was serving a lease-related notice to tenant Kailel Rohlsen-Jackson when staff reported seeing suspected marijuana in the apartment. After obtaining a search warrant, officers searched the room and reportedly found more than 161 grams of psilocybin mushrooms stored in mason jars and smaller bags, along with a scale and containers investigators said were consistent with drug distribution.

Police also reported finding approximately 15.6 ounces of marijuana and two unopened THC vape cartridges labeled as containing cannabis oil.

Rohlsen-Jackson was charged with possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 2, namely THC, in the amount of more than 1 gram but less than 4 grams, a third-degree felony punishable by two to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000.

He was also charged with manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance in penalty group 2, namely psilocybin mushrooms, in the amount of more than 4 grams but less than 400 grams, a first-degree felony punishable by five to 99 years or life in prison and a fine of up to $10,000.
