Midland Crime Stoppers seeks man wanted in 2024 killing
May 12-Midland Crime Stoppers and the U.S. Marshals Service are asking for the public's help locating 54-year-old Wilburt Ray Davis.
According to a social media post from Crime Stoppers, Davis is wanted on a murder charge in the death of Kendra Vollmers on May 21, 2024. Midland police responded to a report of a killing in the 4400 block of Parkdale Drive at about 5 p.m. and found 34-year-old Vollmers dead inside the residence.
According to police reports, family members found Vollmers' body. Davis is described as 6 feet 4 inches tall and 305 pounds. He is wanted on a murder charge and is considered armed and dangerous.
Anyone with information can submit anonymous tips. Crime Stoppers said the first tip that leads to Davis' arrest is eligible for a $2,500 cash reward. No caller identification is ever used. For reward eligibility, a tip must be submitted via the hotline, mobile app or website and result in law enforcement making an arrest. No other avenues are eligible for the reward.
