Bravo announces new series 'Secrets, Lies, Texas Wives' set in Boerne

May 12-Cowboy boots, rodeos and reality TV drama come together in Bravo's newest series. "Secrets, Lies, Texas Wives" takes viewers inside the glamorous and messy lives of women in Kendall County.

NBCUniversal announced the new series Monday during its upfront presentation in New York City.

The series puts a Texas Hill Country spin on Bravo's popular "Real Housewives" franchise, blending luxury lifestyles, tight-knit friendships and behind-the-scenes drama.

Set in the upscale town of Borene, the show follows a tight-knit circle of women balancing family life, ranches, farms and packed social calendars while navigating rumors, relationship drama and shifting loyalties behind the scenes.

"In the heart of Texas Hill Country is the picture-perfect town of Boerne where wealth, beauty, faith and family reign supreme," the show's official description reads. "Centered on a tight-knit circle of glamorous women, this series follows their lives as they raise families, run ranches and farms and manage sparkling social calendars in a town rooted in rodeos and tradition. Behind the polished smiles and Sunday sermons, however, there are intimate relationships and forbidden romances that test loyalties and marriages, jeopardizing the town's pristine image and proving that perfection is far more complicated than anyone could imagine."

"Secrets, Lies, Texas Wives" is currently a working title. Bravo says additional details, including the premiere date and cast members, will be announced later.
