Fiesta vibes fill Frost Bank Center for Spurs Game 1 as watch parties take over San Antonio
May 4-The San Antonio Spurs are turning Frost Bank Center into a full-on playoff spectacle Monday night - and that energy is spilling across the city.
Fans heading into Monday's Game 1 of the second round against the Minnesota Timberwolves will be greeted with Fiesta-themed playoff shirts waiting on every seat, along with "fanbango" noisemakers handed out at entrances to keep the arena loud from the 8:30 p.m. tipoff.
The first 500 fans entering through the ULTRA Club will receive Spurs sunglasses, while pregame entertainment includes a live performance from Finding Friday, a Top 40 cover band.
Mariachi singer Sebastian De La Cruz will perform the national anthem, returning after his first-round appearance, and halftime will feature a balancing and juggling act by Jonathan Rinny. Throughout the night, DJ Quake, the Spurs Hype Squad, and Coyote will keep the crowd engaged.
