Texas A&M to celebrate largest graduating class ever this weekend
The Association of Former Students will grow this weekend when Texas A&M awards 13,775 degrees to spring graduates this weekend. It is the largest graduating class in university history.
The degrees will be awarded at 10 commencement ceremonies starting with the first undergraduate degree ceremony at 7 p.m. Wednesday. That ceremony will be for graduates in Mays Business School and the School of Public Health.
There will be three ceremonies each day from Thursday to Saturday at 9 a.m., 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. All graduation ceremonies will be held at Reed Arena.
The military commissioning ceremony will be held during the 2 p.m. Friday commencement ceremony.
Master's and doctoral ceremonies will be held Saturday afternoon and evening.
All graduation ceremonies will be televised in the Bryan-College Station area on KAMU-TV and streamed on the KAMU website.
